Monthly Round-up: January 2016

It doesn’t seem possible that we are one-twelfth of the way through the year, but we are. Six books read with only two counting towards the Mt. TBR Challenge may sound like dismal progress, but please note that two books hit the 500 page mark. (I got some really good books for my birthday; I couldn’t help myself.)

Plus, all the Powerball hoopla in the States had me retweaking an oddball lotto story I started writing at the end of 2015. And no; I didn’t win the Powerball, so please don’t ask me for money. Wait, strike that, I won $4, but I’ve already spent it. Loser tickets make excellent bookmarks.

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
Gentlemen of the Road by Michael Chabon

*Reviews are halfway finished. I suppose I should review the Chabon too… I was harsh on his The Final Solution and this site needs a little balance where he’s concerned. 🙂
